My friend‘s a dortmund fan and wanted to get him a nice jersey. Which one do you think he’ll like? I’m open other suggestions as well but nothing retro due to fitting concerns.

Also I remember seeing a really clean black jersey a while back not sure if this is the one though

The clean black jersey are all special edition. The one you’ll find online are quiet expensive. I would go for the cl 25/26 jersey, it’s classic.

  2. Just my opinion – the white one. The coal and steel – albeit „limited“ – I see far more often and as a Dortmund fan a new nice black jersey is usually only a couple of seasons away.

The white jerseys on the other hand are rare.

  3. Where do you guys get jerseys? Been really wanting a Marco Reus jersey or a Danish international jersey but have no clue where to find a website with a good selection

  4. Does he already have one? If not, I think you really have to go with a yellow and black one

Not the white one, our colors are black and yellow, I’d hate the white one

  6. Borrowing this post: I’ll be in Dortmund with my son in a little over a week for the Augsburg match (only weekend that fit our schedule). He’s a lifelong Dortmund fan. This is his Christmas gift. First time to a Dortmund match.

He has outgrown his Pulisic jersey.

Where in Dortmund should we shop for gear? At the stadium? Nearby? Elsewhere?

I like the white one more, but overall the Black and especially yellow ones are more popular.

Between those two, I’d say the white. That said, if you’re really trying to foreground the iconic BVB, you really want to get a shirt that is properly Schwarzgelb. I’m partial to the ones that feature a yellow base with vertical black stripes, but mileage varies.
