He was a player who had great potential but was never able to fully fulfill it. He was also unlucky to join AC Milan at the end of their great cycle.

As a milan fan, amazing. Objectively he had the potential to be a top striker with a floor at a 20 goal/pseason average. But injuries killed his career. Like so many players. He honestly could’ve been Brazil’s long term answer at striker. Could’ve won the world cup in 2014 if pato and neymar played together at their peaks instead of Fred.
Blistering pace and solid and improving finish. Look at the goal vs barca.

Could have been one of the best. Unfortunately Milan Lab absolutely destroyed his muscles. Also the youngest player to reach 50 goals in Serie A. Was 21.75 years old back then.
