Can’t factually tell if/ when the ball has come off his foot.

Result = still inconclusive = Celtic cheated… again.

  2. I think he probably was onside, but this angle doesn’t prove that, you can’t see the ball!

It only really tends to be Celtic fans who think there’s a refereeing conspiracy against them

  4. My opinion of VAR is if it can’t say conclusively within a reasonable timeframe (or at all), say 2 minutes, then it reverts to the onfield decision.

Like if you don’t have a camera that shows exactly when the ball leaves the foot the goal stands. If you can’t tell if a ball hit a hand, inside outside the box for a foul etc. by a certain time it just goes “nope back to the refs decision”.

We’re getting way too caught up in increasingly miniscule nonsense, and forgetting it’s just meant to be there to help correct glaring errors.

So is MON happy with VAR tonight then? Or will there be a statement tomorrow appealing the Aberdeen penalty?

  6. My opinion on var is that if it suits Celtic it’s fine by me, otherwise I’ll review my opinion
