Very flawed concept as they’re comparing the league to the top 5 and top 10 leagues, which is silly. Of course there will be more headers.
Would be much more interesting to compare to leagues around the same level, which these days is Croatia, Hungary etc.
There was a point during the Rangers – Celtic game at the weekend when it was 2-1 and Celtic were really pushing for the equaliser, queue a long ball upfront and then maybe 5 or 6 headers of the ball straight into the air from each team. Like a rubbish game of volleyball.
I don’t have much of a point to make here other than this silly anecdote that somewhat backs up the heading amounts.
