Very well said. I think we can all agree that even though it sucks we’re out, the team was fantastics all game.
I hope Raphinha finds his form though. He played his heart out today but his passing and decision making was pretty poor, very unlike him.
Playing like this and losing is far better than playing like Madrid and winning. Really appreciate this club, teams, coaches and staff.
There was a bit of hope we’ll win it all, but realistically it was always an impossible task to overcome 4 goal deficit and score some more to win.
Considering that, the final scoreline is impressive. We can never win everything, it’s just not possible but having the mindset we had today is what separates winners from losers. Hopefully, we can fully concentrate on the Leauge and UCL now and win both.
Disappointed with us not advancing to the final but extremely proud of the team for how they performed and believed until the last second of the game. The last thing I wanted to see was another game similar to the one against Bayern back in 2013 when they trashed us again in the return leg. But it was the complete opposite the evening as we learned how to defend off Atletico’s cheaky overlaps and runs into the penaltybox. Hopefully this is something with can bring with us to the final games of the season.
If only he and Pedri played in 1st leg . .
The penalty goal flattered Raphinha’s performance tonight, had a stinker.
Ferran should be absolutely sold this summer, use that money to top up and buy ANY striker, it doesn’t matter who you buy, it’s impossible for them to be worse than Ferran. How can an 18 year old midfielder attack the box better than our so called striker?
We want down fighting. I don’t think anyone is complaining about the team’s performance today.
