Its not our shitty defense, its not the lack of a playmaker, its not terrible coaching substitutions, its not the disappearing acts from players like Rodrygo or Brahim, its not the fucked up board and Perez shitting on the team….
Its our forwards not capitalizing on clear chances.
Look at our expected goals the last two years and then at how many we actually score… (and this is true especially against good teams!)…
If Vini scores this early chance, we win this game easily. The midfield doesnt have to press up to try to score. The defense doesnt have to go all out and they can maintain their shape. The whole team doesnt have the added pressure that each minute that passes brings upon them.
And to be clear, im not saying it’s VINI’s fault (hes been on a tear for the past month)…. im saying the forwards in general.
