Came off his line to collect crosses, cut out every ball over the top, did not spend the full game misplacing passes and booting the ball out of play, not directly at fault for either goal. The jersey is Sinisalo’s going forward.

I don’t know if Sinisalo is the answer next season onwards, but he’s the answer right now. It was just nice seeing a goalkeeper put in a competent performance. It’s been near enough a year since there’s been a Celtic game you could say, “The goalkeeper wasn’t responsible for any of the goals.”

In the first ten minutes there was a really nice looking cross by Rommens that he just plucked out the air with no issues. If that was Schmeichel it reaches the six yard box and probably ends up in the back of the net.

  2. That chance early in the second was a goal with Kaspar in my eyes, followed it across and ended up a really easy save in the end.

Much preferred than seeing him cemented in the middle on his line and then failing his arms in a panic when the most obvious ball ever goes the way everyone thought it would

  3. I like that we’ve just given up on playing out the back against teams who press. We don’t even need his distribution to match what Kasper used to provide. Not that Kasper is matching what Jasper used to provide.

Fuck it. Punt it forward. We’re not sharp enough to insist on playing out of the back anymore.

Maybe he could open his body more for the 2nd but no keeper saves the first as it’s a worldie unfortunately

  5. What was the story with Kasper not in the squad? I was guessing they will fake an injury for him to save face for him being dropped

Im not overly impressed by him either, but the lack of errors leading to goal with him in nets is a vast improvement. He’s at least saving the shots he really should.

We really need a new keeper in the summer.

  7. Stick my fucking house and car on him being back on the bench for Fatboy in the next game

Keeper done good when’s the last time we seen that written about a celtic Keeper?

  9. What I actually liked most, was there was a moment where Scales and Murray are dilly dallying and fannying about on the ball. You see Viljami running up behind and he’s screaming at them while clapping his hands really fast as if to say FUCKING HURRY UP.

I feel like that every time we have the ball at the back… it’s slow as a week in the jail.

  10. Definitely way more athletic, responsive and also commanding in the box. Seen enough of Kasper to say no thanks. If he’s actually thrown a strop and demanded they say he’s been ill rather than dropped then good riddance to him.
