It’d be Nunes RB, Khusanov CB over Dias. Love Ruben, but Khusanov with Guehi is a better pairing from what I’ve seen so far.

imagine putting Nunes on the bench and taking Khusa out of position to accommodate Ruben Dias lol. Also, if Doku is healthy, he’s an undisputed starter.

Why do people keep leaving Nunes out of lineups 🤦♂️and while Semenyo and Cherki are in form, Foden has UCL experience and that means something at this stage. Don’t be surprised to see if start if he has any good cameos in the next two weeks.
I swear this sub just absolutely loves pushing Khusanov to be in the line-up without think about who he is replacing. Nunes is a fantastic defender and one of our best crossers, we are not leaving him on the bench.
But Bernardo is a holding midfielder, or so I’ve been told!

Khusa needs to play over Dias next to Guehi for his pace and Nunes needs to be at RB, especially if we aren’t playing a real winger on the right.

Drop Dias (even though he’s been our best CB this season) for Khusanov. We need Khusa’s pace to deal to with Mbappe, Vini and Rodrygo who are all quick players. City will also play a high line, making counters a threat.
Nunes in at RB.
If Doku is match fit, I’d start him over Semenyo. He offers us strength but more importantly an outball when Madrid press our back line. He’ll also be a secondary creator with Cherki.

also i think reinders will start over cherki , and if doku is back cherki will still be on the bench and come in the second half for both legs with doku and semenyo starting , a lot depends on the first fixture
