Really good performance from the team. Sinisalo has to start from now to end of the season

  2. This is the day that we win away.

At least we’re going in to Sunday with a bit of a better mood. Sinisalo has to start though.

  3. Well isn’t that the most painful victory we’ve ever had in Europe. So many ‘what ifs’.

This season has to be Schmeichel’s last with us.

  4. Honestly happily take that, bit of confidence behind us for Sunday, my god its great having a keeper who can move around without a sausage and a stick in front of him

Even for their disallowed goal, Sinisalo showed great reactions to even get a touch to it. Big Kasper would have still been tying his laces in the changing rooms.

Must start Sunday, defence looked so much more composed with him behind them.

  6. Pleased with the win and performance, albeit a pyrrhic victory.

This team seems to play a lot better when counter attacking than trying to control things. Much to think about come Sunday.

Frustrating to think we’d have been in with a chance had Kasper not chucked 2 in last week. Should finish him imo.

  7. How fuckin weird is at that at home I could hear Stutgart fans but away I can hear us lol, what a strange spot we are in

  8. Fantastic effort. I’m really glad the fans who booked up for Germany had something worth celebrating.

Got to remember Stuttgart would have been a bit flaccid the night having conquered us last week. So let’s not celebrate another loss in Europe again lads.

Another knockout loss. Ineffectual since 2004. 21 seasons of failure in Europe.

On a positive hopefully Bain can kick on. We develop far too few players

  10. Only caught the last half hour. Think Tounetki and Maeda combined took the ball forward once? Though to be fair there were times Tounetki had no one near him to receive a pass  and instead the ball went back to the defence.

Back to the defence from midfield then zero progress up the park other than sometimes knocked towards Cvancara ,who seems to be struggling big time in his role, who when he could knock it down or get it under control had no attacking support near him.

Iheanacho and Cvancara showed nothing together, even getting in each other’s way at one point.

Nygren came on( I think) and didn’t see him touch the ball.

Looked alright defensively though and any keeper obviously an upgrade on Schmeichel.

    Burning question of the night:
The fuck did Maeda do to his hair?

Wasn’t as accomplished of a counter attacking performance as Bodo but I think MoN has been reading the sub!

  12. It’s sort of hilarious that our first ever competitive win in Germany has come courtesy of the 2nd string of players from potentially our worst squad in recent memory.

  13. Good to get the win, even if we didn’t look in any danger of putting pressure on them after the goal.

Sinisalo and Murray might have played themselves into the team for Sunday. Possibly Yang and Adamu as well.

We’re still shockingly light in midfield, the worry is they just run over the top of us again.

  14. Think Maeda staying on for 90 might be telling he’s not starting on Sunday. Which is good, would rather more quality on the pitch
