Maybe the punishment is that this particular ref should never ref a Barca game again.
We either run out of Spanish refs eventually or they can start doing their job better.
This refs performance in Barca game is too much of a statistical anomaly for his performance to be a coincidence

Why do we always get at least 1 or 2 of these situations per season. When was the last time our rivals in white have been in a situation like this. They are always given the benefit of the doubt almost instantly. I couldn’t believe my eyes a penalty was awarded against them this past weekend. I’m surprised that ref and the VAR team still have a job in the 1st division.
