Alan Smith on the title race: “There will be moments where you think, ‘Oh, no, no, it’s all over.’ But still a lot of points to play for. Arsenal, I think, have got the advantage over City in that they can rotate players more easily and still keep that strength.”

  1. Perhaps this is true of Arsenal’s back line but the attack/midfield options are…not great

Arsenal have the advantage that they are 5 points ahead albeit having played once more.

    They also have easier fixtures.

Man City have the advantage that they play Arsenal at home.

They also have Pep who is the greatest manager this century.

  3. It’s going to get interesting when the champions league is in full swing. Pep usually doesn’t do well in those away legs.

The advantage city has is that they’ve done this before. Maybe not everyone on their current squad but in general they have title winning experience. Arsenal has none and only knows giving up the title lead late in the race. I do think Arsenal hangs on but it wouldn’t surprise me if city goes on an unbeaten streak and nips them right at the end. Regardless I’m more of a general epl fan so am all for the drama and at least this season is getting spicier.
