Hey,

can someone explain why Transfermarkt rates this player so low? Every other Premier League player who's 18, English, and has played 5 minutes is valued at 20 million. Of course, the site's valuations are fictitious. Even so, they're often very close to the actual transfer fees. Apparently, the player is never injured, has been a regular starter for a few months, has 4 goal contributions, etc.
From your perspective as a fan, is there any reason why he's valued so low? Thanks!

He is relatively unproven, he will hold weight if he goes to a bigger club for a few seasons, also dosent help a lot of people are over valued so this naturally pushes him down a few pegs

  2. I think they update their prices twice a year with the transfer windows. So he wasn’t a hot commodity at New Years yet and he’ll probably have a massive jump up this summer.

Still unproven, plenty of players have had a purple patch when they break into first team squads, and then their form has dropped off the edge of a cliff. He needs to carry it on longer and his value will rise.
