Today should’ve made it clear for Chivu. There’s no reason to start Thuram unless it’s due to injury or rotation. Bonny and Pio have earned the right to lead the line in big games until Lautaro returns. Right now, Thuram simply isn’t reliable.

We definitely need to see more of Bonny starting games, especially important ones. We only have 3 fit strikers for the next month so rotating between them is going to be incredibly important. Wouldn’t surprise me if someone like Frattesi/Diouf/Mkhi plays behind or next to one of the strikers when either one of Thuram/Bonny/Pio need a rest.

  2. I still rate Thuram but prefer Pio’s style of play. Way more physical and gritty. Bonny needs more time on the pitch.

enough with the drama…we’re less than a year out of having taremi and arna as our backup strikers.

these 4 of our strikers is probably the best depth we’ve had up front in years, and some of you still love the drama.

Bro, let Chivu do his job and stop giving him advice. This is not football manager. In real life you also have to manage the egos from star players. Look at how Xabi was booted from RM after he subbed Vinie a few times. You can’t bench proven players like Lautaro and Thuram for players that have yet to prove anything. It has to be done gradualy and those older players sold or convinced to accept a smaller role else you bomb your team.

Chivu has been managing them perfectly and that’s why Inter has the most goals in Seria with 62G in 26 games.

Anyone making a serious argument for Thuram starting over Bonny is watching the game looking for Thuram’s mistakes and Bonny’s successes. In reality, there is no serious argument to be made.

If sold Thuram, would you consider Parma’s Pellegrino?

He’s somewhat of a combination of Pio and Thuram, faster, and cheaper and younger.
