I think it’ll be a closer game than we want it to be, but Rogers will pull us through with another banger or two.
Ngl am worried for this one. Need to start well and get the lead early I think. A win would be massive with a tricky game against wolves next week.
Leeds are a good side these days but I watched them at home to Arsenal and they were piss poor in that game. If we give them a good game, everyone at their best, they’ll struggle to keep up.
Hope to see Tammy starting.
Martinez; Cash Konsa Lindelof Maatsen; Onana Dougie; Sancho Buendia Rogers; Tammy
It’s a shame that Alysson is still out, I’m keen to see more of him.
I’m assuming Garcia is back then? The club estimated a three week absence about three weeks ago. Typically, he returns just as Cash does (we seem to be suffering a lot of overlapping injuries in the same position this season – Mings & Pau, McGinn & Tielemans).
Not sure about this one, Leeds can be dangerous.
Think we can beat them but no slacking from players or fans needed.
Get at them from minute 1 and for chrissake don’t be weaklings on corners like we were at Elland Road.
Emery looked chipper as fuck in the presser!
Also, if we get the FA Cup version of Leeds we saw last weekend, we’ll absolutely batter them. Changes or not, they where as bad as I’ve seen them all season and a side with any quality would have put 3 or 4 past them no problem.
This one will be a grind. Leeds have got plenty to offer and Farke isn’t a tactical dud. Matty coming back is a big positive, but my jury is out on whether us having almost a full weeks rest is too. 😭 😂
I think as long as our goalkeeper doesn’t go Bundesliga logoing himself into one of their players during a quick counter, we should be onto a winner with this one. Fingers crossed for some good results elsewhere too. Glad to have Cash back. UTFV
