He went from the up and coming manager, to bring on the verge of getting sacked.

Im not a palace fan and i dont really have a dog in this fight, but surely it’d be best for all parties if he left now rather than wait until the end of the season.

Delusions of grandeur. Behaves like club is beneath him.

Story old as time – a smaller team pokes their head up for a season, gets all their best players pillaged by big teams, club slumps….

Deserved downfall for vetoing the Guehi transfer.

Never seen a man plummet his stock so much by actively trying to get himself sacked.
Must be an uncomfortable conversation for Palace fans. For one, they’d love him for winning them that FA Cup trophy, but how he’s acted since then is appalling.

They call this “doing a De Zerbi.”

I’ve heard enough. Get him to Spurs.

His downfall in last few months needs to be studied. Granted palace have shocking depth and lack of investment has really hindered them this season, but this guy was doing incredible for them until they lost that first game of season to Everton

Would help if they didnt get asset stripped and then replace any of them with equal quality lmao

He wants that payout soo badly.

Like him as a manager but think it’s time to make a change. Yes we’ve sold players but outside of a select few teams, that is the reality of all clubs.
Rather than figure out solution, tweak the tactics etc he’s had a strop and tried to get himself sacked. Against Sunderland, we had a few options on the bench but he refused to make a sub as a big FU to Parish.
We have a decent squad who will start winning again under a new manager with a different tactical set up that no longer suits the players we have available.

I wonder if he’s been listening to Eddie Howe. He admitted he wasn’t doing his job well enough during a poor run of form and it seemed to have the effect of galvanising the squad, the players suddenly started showing desire to win again and Trippier even came out in public support of him. I’m not sure Glasner carries the same amount of sway with the Palace squad for the “it’s my fault, I’m not good enough” approach to work for them.

‘Right now, I’m just not good enough to replace the players we sold. I’m just not good enough to integrate the new players in a way to play the same way like we did, and I’m not good enough that we can cope with the schedule we had.’
So the title made it sound like he had some self awareness, the full quote is his usual nonsense about selling our best players and who we replaced them with

No matter what, he still gave Palace supporters something that fans of the non top 6 sides would give their left bollock for. Memories of that day at Wembley will be passed down through Palace fans for generations

The way he keeps bleeting on you’d think palace spend like 2004 Chelsea for decades and then when he took the job they stopped back him.
As an outsider Palace seem to be operating largely as they have done for many years and it’s kept them in the league and kept them sustainable.
Just feels like he’s hoping if he talks enough shit he’ll get his payout.
