Agreed. And tbh the premier league allows more contact than some other leagues. Watching the Portuguese league is really infuriating as the game is always stopping

Nah, I think it is fine as it is now, in the PL at least. You can still do some pretty brutal tackles as long as you hit the ball first. If you miss the ball and put another player in risk of injury, I think it is completely fair that that is punished harshly.

Look at the last Arsenal match mate. Arsenal players just be falling every chance they get to waste time near the end of the match.
