Harry Wilson would be excellent as a free transfer, but there’s a worry that he may just be having a purple patch/fight-for-new-contract season because the performances and numbers this season are somewhat of an outlier. However if it’s on a free it could still be an excellent pickup in a position we probably need improving unless Bailey is able to get back to his old levels.
Honestly don’t hate it. Purple patch or not, he’s shown more consistency on the wing then anyone else we’ve had there these past few years.
Saying that, I think it’s a position we should be looking to spend relatively big on. 28 also feeds into a wider problem also.
It would be a solid deal, you’re getting 25mn player on a free while getting 25mn back for Malen, and replacing Malen’s wages with his.

If he comes in on a free he’ll want similar wages to Tielemans/Kamara. He has £200k p/w at Spurs written all over him…
29 in a few weeks and wingers don’t tend to age well.
I’d be worried we’d be adding an aging player into an already old squad that probably won’t replicate this form he’s never shown before in the prem.
