Really big from Marco to come out and take personal responsibility for that red card.
Ipersonally wasn't that mad at him. I'd rather he made a mistake like that in a FA Cup game than in a PL or EL game because he's been exceptional for us as a back-up keeper and we definitely need him if we stand any chance of getting back into the CL.

It was obviously a very silly moment from him but overall I think he’s had a decent season. We’ll move on and hopefully he’ll learn from it. UTV
Exactly, one mistake in the FA cup won’t impact our season at all, still a superb back up keeper compared to Olsen!
Yeah, I wasn’t that mad either. I actually think it’s quite sad players feel that, because of a minority of reactionary and easily inflamed fans, they have to post a public apology for making a mistake at work.
A moment of madness but still a great quality back up keeper who we will likely need to call on again this season with Emi’s injury record and the fixture congestion.
I hope he doesn’t let this moment get to his head and can move on quickly.
I think we would’ve lost to Newcastle anyway with the injuries we had and team performance, and it hasn’t impacted our push for the Champions League places so forgive and forget!
Honestly game felt like it was already heading that way. You live and learn and hopefully we’ll not be in a position where it’s 3 v 1 and he tests out his karate skills again
read recently that his save percentage was the highest in europa (96.3%) and emi martinez highest in epl (77%)? Outstanding stats which indicates that we have an elite goalie department. these 2 need backing and they are gonna make the odd mistakes.
Always respect players who hold their hands up and learn from mistakes. He’s a solid keeper, that won’t change my mind.
Tis what it is. Chaps done more then enough since being here for us to give him a let off for a silly mistake. Rather him do it in this game then a league fixture or a Europa game.
