Which led to
|You used to be a goalscorer. That's not meant as a criticism. On the contrary. You still convert penalties with such certainty, as if they were AI-controlled or by the football gods themselves. And the more often goalkeepers who guess the right corner dive towards the ball, the greater the risk of breaking their fingers, the shots are so powerful. So powerful, in fact, that in Bremen – without any help from the stormy North Sea – you even scored from outside the penalty area. Again, with millimeter precision, through a tiny eye of a needle that only you can see.
|You're the first striker to become a constant threat from deeper and deeper. The first playmaker with long-range shooting in football history. First eleven, then sixteen meters. Soon twenty. Eventually thirty. Finally, from the halfway line. You can't possibly play football that long at 32. For that ridiculous €100 million transfer fee, you were a steal in 2023. You'll be the first football grandpa, hopefully at Bayern Munich, to play on the same team as his grandchildren, pardon me, sons. As a libero or in goal, sorry Manuel Neuer, sorry Jonas Urbig.
And who do you have to thank for that? Bayern Munich, the Bundesliga. You never would have developed like this in the hectic Premier League . Look at Nick Woltemade, who's been unhappy at Newcastle for ages and would rather go back to Stuttgart or maybe even Bayern Munich sooner rather than later . Nick would make a good successor for you.
Seemingly it’s a German journo saying it in his column. Bizarre. I know we’ve been playing him kinda out of his preferred position but to say he’s unhappy before the season has even ended?

Talking about Harry Kane with the bit about Wolte at the bottom:

“Reportedly unhappy” lol
What that, the BBC briefing against us in a too subtle to make us look like melts if we protest way? Never!
BBC sport is north west and they hate the north east because it reminds them there’s other regions more passionate than them.
Sure Bayern will be happy to pay £100 million now he’s prem proven then.
Well you know what they say about opinions and a holes
I mean Big Nick looks pretty happy and settled in to me lol
I guess bayern have realised they cant afford players any more so need to buy them with PR
Can I go 1 day without seeng one of our players “reportedly” wanting to leave
Woltemade hattrick incoming next game
I suspect much like Sandro, journalists from his home will speculate on his return for years.
To Raimund Hinko: “Aufwiedersein Asshole!” What a load codswallop, how scheiße like this gets published let alone on the BBC just shows you the state of Spots media these days, embrassing.
So the media tried to unsettle Eddie, and that came to nothing. Then they went for Sandro, and now that that’s completely backfired and led to him kicking on, they’ve moved over to Woltemade to try to unsettle him.
Fucking pathetic vultures.
Can’t wait for him to score 15 goals tonight
First Tonali, Gordon, now Nick. We’re not going to have much of a sqaud left if all this turns out to be true
“reportedly”. What? did somebody post on Twitter?
Yeah, you can tell he’s unhappy, he never seems to laugh or smile, seems to dislike his teammates, never has any fun with them, his Instagram is dead, never seems to go out or do anything, doesn’t have any friends from home supporting him at matches, no support network here…

TBF. I’d expect him to be slightly unhappy, over recent months, as he hasn’t been performing as he is capable. I’m not worried about it, though.
I’m convinced, after a good pre-season, he’ll be a star next season.
Reporter reports Nick is unhappy; so uses the headline “reportedly unhappy”.
How much do you bet this person had the story wrote but seen Nick hadn’t scored in a few games held it back until he scored then sent it immediately.
I honestly wouldn’t have blamed Nick at all, he probably was unhappy, until 2 weeks a go he was only playing as #9 and he isn’t a #9 so its completely understandable for a player to want to play in a system that suits him. The thing is, Eddie has started to change the role he sees Nick in so while this story might have had some merit when the guy wrote it, probably a month ago, holding off publishing it for more clicks probably backfired. I’m sure Nick is slightly more content now to see a system change that seems to be focused on him always being further back and players ahead of him.
