Arsenal fans have swarmed to discuss whether Mikel Arteta should continue his midfield experiment when the Gunners face Wolves in the Premier League.
Arsenal’s midfield has been a focal point of discussion since the Gunners’ win over Wigan in the FA Cup.
Arteta stunned everyone by starting a midfield trio of Christian Norgaard, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka.
Though the feedback was strong, with Norgaard blowing fans away with his passing and Saka enjoying his time in midfield, Arsenal supporters are demanding change ahead of the trip to Molineux.

Norgaard deserves more minutes at Arsenal; there is no doubt about that, but when it comes to the Premier League, fans are pressing for Arteta to revert to what he knows works best.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it, is the message from Gooners on social media.
On Arsenal Insider’s Facebook page, we asked Gooners far and wide whether a midfield of Eze, Saka and Norgaard should start against Wolves.
It’s fair to say that fans weren’t sold on the idea of the experiment continuing.
“Who’s gonna put a tackle in, not Saka or Eze?” one fan asked.
Another mentioned Eze’s inability to win duels in midfield, “Eze got missed in physical game with opponents. Rice must play.”

“What are you talking about! You want to leave Rice and Zubimendi out,” One fan exclaimed.
The consensus was that it’s ‘not time for experiments’.
“You can’t experiment right now,” a supporter warned Arteta.
Over on Arsenal Insider’s TalkingPoints discussion ahead of the Wolves match, a TalkingPoints user said that the idea of leaving Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi out is ‘too risky’.
“Too risky in such a crucial game to rest Rice and Zubi further. Without them the defence shall be too prone. Maybe just to rest then after 60 minutes; whatever the status of the game.”
To conclude the Facebook comments, one supporter made it clear to the Arsenal manager what his midfield three should look like.
“The midfield against Wolves needs to be Rice and Zubimendi with Eze or Odegaard. Simple as that.”
Christian Norgaard can consider himself unlucky in Declan Rice and Martin Zubimendi battle
Arsenal fans think it’ll be Rice and Zubimendi in midfield against Wolves, and they’re probably spot on.
Arteta loves his trusted pivot, hence why they’ve started 24 out of 26 league games together this season.

With that said, it’s got to be emphasised how unlucky the situation is for Norgaard.
Norgaard has already spoken about competing with Rice and Zubimendi, admitting that it’s a tough job.
“It’s not easy. They are fantastic players,” he said earlier this season.
It looks as though it’s back to the bench for Norgaard in the Premier League, and he can consider himself unlucky if that is the case.
