  1. I don’t think City expected it either until PSG made him available for so cheap.

Whilst I feel for Trafford and hope he can find some game time elsewhere next season, I don’t think anyone looks back on the decision to sign Gigi and regrets it.

  2. Spurs are likely to replace Vicario in the summer so I’m anticipating a move to north London. Would be a good move for all parties

  3. Fair play for backing himself I suppose but Man City signing a top class keeper to replace Ederson can hardly be considered a surprise.

  4. I vaguely remember a couple of stinker performances from him at start of the season. Donnarumma is not a bad panic buy

  5. Made a bad decision to return to City last summer, he was never going to be no.1 there in such a critical position for Pep.

This summer expect a shake up of GKs at Newcastle, Sunderland(Roefs will surely be approached by a big team), Spurs, Villa, Bournemouth etc…

  6. Wait, he moved from Burnley in the Championship and was surprised when they signed an international with tons of champions league experience to start ahead of him.

His agent must be a fucking good liar.

  7. I genuinely think he expected to be fighting for his spot rather than just a complete backup goalie – either way his agent messed up big time for him (or possibly didn’t and took a massive agent fee so he could move to City)

  8. You can’t blame City for grabbing Donnarumma on the cheap. He’s world class. Unfortunately if Trafford wants more game time he’ll have to find a new club. It’s not that complex.

  9. How do all the most uneducated people in the world find their way to Man City posts on r/premierleague every single time?
