the boycott for a game or two was necessary to prove a point but the players always praise our amazing support wherever they go all around the world and state how it helps motivate and push them. Fans were brilliant today from the start of the second half btw. Maybe that helped fuel that immediate performance turnaround right at half.
Unfortunately as much as I despise this greedy board, boycotting more games will only hurt our players. The board still has the player sale profits, Europa and champions league money, jersey sales etc. to wipe their tears with. Season ticket holders already paid so what’s the point in them skipping more games? Don’t forget they all got 6 figure bonuses in 24 or 25.
Everyone needs to Get the sack the board banners out and pack the stadium and get behind Martin and the players. Our faith is still in our hands to win this league but we need the atmosphere to get over the line. Between the injuries and lack of signings do Martin, Maloney, and the players deserve an empty quiet stadium to go along with that? No
