I mean Xavi was sent off for the exact same challenge so it’s not a discussion to have is it? Farce as always VAR. get rid.

  2. yes, VAR should’ve at least asked the ref to look, but then there’d be too many stoppages

so either give VAR more authority, to make the final decision themselves, or just scrap it

  3. Oh, absolutely. At least by their standards. Simons was for us against Liverpool, and consistency is the key we’re all looking for really.

    COYS!!!

Should Rodri gotten a yellow and red card’s multiple times in the last 3-4 years? More importantly. Does a bear shit in the woods?

  5. I’m going to say no, because Fabian Schar wasn’t penalised for a studs up tackle on Foden earlier in the season that would’ve resulted in a penalty.

    Consistency.

  6. Well, Fulham got away with a clear as day red and penalty, so it does even out. Lord knows what the muppet on VAR was seeing if not Semenyo’s hair being pulled. I had the game on my phone and it was obvious.

  7. Was Dalot sent off for his studs on dokus knee, was tete sent off for pulling semenyos hair, was schar sent off for his studs on Foden ?

VAR is used by total morons

  8. Yes. A number of players have been sent off for similar this season. The refs have set a precedent. It doesn’t matter if it’s accidental, it’s dangerous and it’s red. Consistency is in the tiolet. We’ll see red for another similar incident, but no accountability will be taken by the PGMOL

Yes it was similar to the United spurs where Pedro got a straight red. High coming down reckless right above the foot iirc.
