yes, VAR should’ve at least asked the ref to look, but then there’d be too many stoppages
so either give VAR more authority, to make the final decision themselves, or just scrap it

I’m going to say no, because Fabian Schar wasn’t penalised for a studs up tackle on Foden earlier in the season that would’ve resulted in a penalty.

Yes. A number of players have been sent off for similar this season. The refs have set a precedent. It doesn’t matter if it’s accidental, it’s dangerous and it’s red. Consistency is in the tiolet. We’ll see red for another similar incident, but no accountability will be taken by the PGMOL
