The fact that we actually competed in Europe and Serie Ass over that period is insane. Hopefully one day we’ll be able to spend money again without worrying about the consequences.

I assume this doesn’t count for salaries though, where we have often been the top spender. But even if you consider those we’d still be behind Juve and Milan overall.
