Futbol Americas’ Sebastian Salazar and Herculez Gomez take a look at former Mexico manager Tata Martino’s suggestions on what should be changed in the Mexico national football team. Herc questions why he never made a point of this when he was the manager, whilst, Seb points to the federation to blame as nothing has changed.

Messi better
2nd messi better
He’s on the money man . He knew the equation just can’t do much when the only “proven” striker and I use proven lightly was a naturalized funes morí
Mexico could be like Brazil and could play almost anyone in the world in friendlies, especially in Europe, because they play in an attractive manner and are solid sparing partners. That is what Mexico is missing: games against teams better than them so they can become a top level team.
Messi the 🐐
People don’t like tata but he speaks facts he had nothing to work with no good players ,all the players are average
Thanks for showing love to Forward Madison, Herc.
Messi got more talent in his right foot then Mexico's starting 11 plus bench
Amazing video and thank you for breaking it down!! Despite the economic downturn, I'm so happy 😊I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $9,000 investment every 21days.
He’s a good coach but the federation only thing the federation wants to do is make money 💰
Agree with Herc. While there needs to be more Mexican friendlies in Mexico, the ones in the US won't ever end. The money they get from expats who came to the US for a better future, got it, but are still more loyal to the nation from which they fled, is too large a sum to give up. It helps their national program.
These sound like the same clowns that went off when Klinsmann recommended US players go to Europe. Whatever. El Tri will bounce back just like the US did.
The federation wants to take itself down apparently
All these are absolutely right. Mexico needs to stop trying to export it's national team to America & more regularly test themselves against European & South American teams . Massive problem for Mexico is that their aren't enough Mexicans playing in Europe learning many different styles. Only the very best Mexicans are playing in Europe & they usually go by the time they in mid 20s & already developed. Compare this to Brazilians who by the time they turn 18 are already being ng shipped off to Europe & develop there. I think the last one will be the most controversial but Liga MX needs to move away from the apertura & clausura seasons & more into the European & US model where it's just 1 season a year. By splitting it into 2 seasons this makes managers less likely to play younger players & give other players a chance due to the significance of each & every game. The traditional 1 season structure treats it more like a marathon & usually means your more likely to give other players a chance since every game won't have so much significance. On foreign players at the bare minimum they should limit foreign players to 5 at most on a team.
Kind of silly. Tata was not willing to play the Mexican youth himself when he was the coach for the Mexican national team.
