  1. No, give him minutes every game for the rest of the season so he smashes the record. Brighton are not winning any major trophy this season so let him get his record and if you don’t want him at the end of the season sell him.

  2. they’ve been waiting until this specific game to tie the record (since most of barry’s apps came for villa)

  3. Yes, putting him on at the end of games when it’s not needed has caused us issues with letting in goals, hopefully when we get the last one done, he has no need to be used again and can go to Leeds next season.

  4. Should’ve retired ages ago, he’s not been Premier League quality for ages, basically stuck around for the record. I Hurzler has been spineless enough appease him. Remember them bringing him on at the end of the game at Anfield to get him an applause while Brighton were losing.

  5. Feel bad for Gareth Barry to be honest.

He was playing full games (and playing well) until he dropped down to the Championship with West Brom. Now his record will be taken by someone getting a minute or two here and there just to bump the numbers.

According to statmuse. Milner has played a total of 40,000 minutes. Barry has played 54,000. The difference of 14,000 minutes is a little over 150 full games.

  7. I dunno if milner cares tbh

He is still a proper true professional, very rare you hear anything from him

I bet he even thinks that Barry is the true record holder due to the minutes difference

Just one of those things really
