Leeds United manager Daniel Farke will be proud of his team after their 2-2 draw with Chelsea on Tuesday.
Leeds fought back from 2-0 down to earn a point at Stamford Bridge and deny Liam Rosenior a fifth consecutive Premier League win.
Arsenal legend and Chelsea supporter Paul Merson has been quite critical of Josh Acheampong following his role in Leeds’ equaliser.

However, Farke has suggested that Chelsea as a whole have to take responsibility for their collapse against his side.

In the second half, Leeds were more offensive and direct, and Chelsea could just not adapt to that, according to Farke.
Speaking in his post-match press conference, which has been covered by Leeds Live, the German said: “In the second half, we had more offensive thinking players on the pitch. Sometimes it’s difficult for an opponent to react and adapt to a different style.”
Before the game, Farke spoke very highly of Chelsea’s squad, but in the end, they could not get the job done against the 49-year-old and his team.
Chelsea fans – was Rosenior to blame, or was it the players? 😤
Chelsea failed to hold on to a 2-0 lead over Leeds.
It is disappointing, as the Blues had a chance to move into fourth and the Champions League places, with Manchester United also drawing on the night.
There is no time to dwell on this setback, though, because Chelsea have another game this Friday, taking on Hull City in the FA Cup. As for Farke and Leeds, they will be going up against Birmingham City in the same competition on Sunday.

Leeds were certainly better in the second half, and there were times when Chelsea struggled with their directness and second balls. Even so, Farke’s side, on their own, did very little to actually get back into the game.
Their first goal was the result of a penalty that came from a stupid tackle made by Moises Caicedo. As for their equaliser, it was completely avoidable as well.
Had Acheampong cleared his lines, Noah Okafor would not have got his opportunity.
Simply put, while Chelsea probably could have adapted better to Leeds’ second-half approach, tactics were not too influential in the Blues’ collapse. Rather, it was just two horrendous moments that could have been avoided.
