What a match for Parisens when you guys absolutely destroyed the rival and back to the top of the table.

Anyway, can someone explain details of those amazing tifos CUP made? The bear dressed as delivery man, those 4 rats with broken beer and a bucket of fish?

  1. 2nd tifo – kinda racist but at this point we can’t even consider it racist towards Marseille anymore. The term rat has been used in plenty of ways from the northern region towards the south (especially Marseille) due to the diverse, poorer population etc. Here’s being used as a term to just describe Marseille people like PSG fans do

So it’s people from Marseille portrayed as rats (fish should symbolize the city) crying while they read the journal about PSG’s historic season.

Pernod Ricard is not a beer, it’s spirits/wine and it’s a company based in Marseille. They faced a lot of backlash a few years ago when they announced that they had a partnership with PSG that they had to scrap it

  2. 1. First tifo is a reference to the PSG chant “les Marseillais c’est des p***”, which has gotten the ultras in trouble for using a homophobic slang. Instead they’re calling them delivery drivers carrying a box with a rat symbol representing Marseille, and the truck has DPD written on it, which is a phonetic workaround for the homophobic slur.

    2. The second tifo is a pack of rats wearing Marseille jerseys crying while reading a front page of PSG’s historic trophy run. The bucket of fish is actually a bucket of sardines, which is another reference for people from Marseille.
