It's a wet Saturday, I have to watch Dyche-ball for the rest of the season, and Cuiabano has left. It got me thinking. Let's rank all the first team signings since we got promoted. So I did, like a lunatic or someone who recently had a severe stroke.
A few contentious ones, but a bit of debate is fun. I know a few might have CHO, Aina and Elanga higher, but we need a more even split. Some have had duds seasons and good spells.
I've also put them in order per category too, so furthest left is the top pick, further right nearest to the lower category.
Factoring in not only their performances for the mighty Reds, but also their transfer fee and what we recouped for them. E.g. Josh Bowler only cost £2m, which is about 1 games worth of Jonjo Shelvey.
I had my reasons for all. Too early for Lucca, Netz and Ortega, I suspect, so they get an auto C.
Anyway, let me know how I did.

I think aina should be S. don’t forget we signed the dude as a free transfer
Normally these lists cause massive arguments but yours seems solid, I don’t think there’s anyone I’d move 2 jumps from where you’ve put them.
Think I’d put Aina in S since we got him for fuck all and he’s been an absolute legend since he got here.
I’d probably drop Navas to C as well, but don’t feel strongly enough about it to argue
If you gave signings a score out of 10 and put them in date signed order on a bar graph it’d be interesting. To a nerd like me anyway. Wouldn’t that show our golden recruitment period was before Edu got involved?
I’d have Elanga in S tier tbh.
Not through pure footballing ability but he was instrumental for us last year and a big reason Wood got 20 goals.
