Lazio’s sport director Fabiani in press conference: “Frattesi? Well I won’t directly put the name to respect Inter, but let’s say we did identified and making a move on their player, which the player himself showing interest he wanted to come here, unfortunately Inter rejected the idea.”

  1. Sunk cost fallacy. They keep investing time (and wages) in this dude hoping he’ll bloom into a stack of cash, but this is a pure loss. It was a failed investment.

Perhaps some momo turns around and offers an appropriate sum for what we paid. Fine. We all know it’s not gonna happen though. He offers too little. Sassuolo is a fucking house of mirrors.

Nothing against Davidino. He’s an absolute peach, but he’s not Inter material.

  2. I still think he will have a few big moments in the second half of the season.

That’s the type of player he is. Useless 80% of the time, decent 15% of the time and then out of this world clutch for the remaining 5%.

McTominay is the guy we hoped Frattesi would be. Strong and defensively sound in the middle of the park who can drive through space on the counter and make devastating late runs into the box.

Unfortunately, he’s just not that guy and we should try to get as much as we can for him this summer.
