I’d guess so, there were a lot of clubs in for him, looks good both physically and statistically. Seems like a lot of money for a 20yr old but that’s just the way the market is these day, you don’t get a cheap player unless nobody else knows about him or wants him.
Always nice to get a deal done for the summer tho, still going to need either another more seasoned CB or an agreement for an extention for Konate. Hope it’s the latter.

I’ve seen a few videos about him, and I have to say, he’s probably going to be a liability.
He’s just way too aggressive. He’s going to give away quite a few penalties per season.
His style of play works in the PSG-only league, but it’s going to end up with him committing way too many fouls in the Premier League.

Liverpool obviously see this player as a future long term prospect.
55 million is a bit steep but unfortunately that’s the market these days. It’s definitely a gamble, but one that Liverpool are willing to take.
