It’s a shame, as somewhere under that chaos there’s a very talented player who can go far.
I think we can safely say we sold at the right time for the right price!

Part of me feels for the lad. There’s an absolute world beater in there somewhere, but if Emery couldn’t tame him, I doubt anyone can.

And Hell be on the move again at the next Jan transfer window.

Playing for a Russian club in the current political climate.. yikes.

Real shame. Talented wasted.
He must have a terrible team around him. He was onto a good thing with us and it was clear the squad was doing a lot of work with him to make him feel welcomed and valued (Rogers and Onana in particular). Who knows how that could have turned out? Maybe he would have matured a bit with age.
Ahh what could have been. Great business by us though, which is a plus, but I do really feel for the lad.

I suspected he was always going to be a journeyman once he left. He doesn’t have the temperament and attitude to stick it out with clubs. He’s likely still on insane money but if he doesn’t keep scoring goals that will eventually fall drastically.
Think we got a cracking deal out of him.

Wants to experience every country. But we know full well he wouldn’t have dipped like this had he stayed with us. “Sold at the right time” is a bit of a cop out.

I said it very early on (and was massively down voted for it) that this guy is Mario Balotelli V2 in every single way and that one club at the end will be left holding a massively unsellable asset they have massively overpaid for.
Thank god it wasn’t us and its great we made the profit we did.
This guy was born with all the natural football and physical ability, but without a brain.

Whoever is advising him is becoming very wealthy indeed!

Why the hell would he even go there. It just doesn’t make any sense.
