West Ham United star Jarrod Bowen is thought to be a transfer target for Manchester United in the summer.

Bowen has been brilliant for West Ham since moving to the London Stadium in January 2020, scoring 82 goals and registering 54 assists in 264 games.

The 29-year-old is the Hammers captain and has always produced even during the club’s most difficult times.

If Jarrod Bowen leaves West Ham, who is your DREAM replacement? 🤔

Paris FC’s Ilan Kebbal looks very impressive…

Bowen could leave West Ham if they get relegated from the Premier League this season.

Nuno Espirito Santo‘s side have really struggled this season.

It does not bear thinking about where they would be without Bowen.

If the Hammers do go down, the fans will surely understand that Bowen needs to move on in order to keep alive his dream of being involved with the England squad.

And Manchester United are now said to be very keen on the Englishman.

Shock Jarrod Bowen to Manchester United claim emerges

Bowen clearly has what it takes to play for the best teams in England.

He has always remained steadfastly loyal to the Hammers, but that could well change in the summer if his side are no longer in the Premier League.

Now TEAMtalk journalist Dean Jones has suggested that Manchester United could come knocking for Bowen.

However, Jones did highlight that a move for Bowen would be contingent on whether the Hammers are playing in the Premier League or the Championship.

He said: “West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen will be on the radar as an option to give United a new edge, if West Ham are relegated.“

That’s even more motivation for West Ham to try and avoid the drop.

Relegation will be painful enough but losing their best player on top of that would seriously sting.

Jarrod Bowen is indispensable to West Ham

Bowen epitomises what it means to be a Hammers player.

What do YOU think West Ham’s Jarrod Bowen succession plan should be?

Is Yaser Asprilla a potential replacement?

Yaser Asprilla of Girona FC celebrates after scoring his team's second goal during the LaLiga match between Girona FC and UD Las Palmas at Montilivi Stadium on February 03, 2025 in Girona, Spain.

He is one of only three surviving players who remain from the Europa Conference League final, alongside Alphonse Areola and Tomas Soucek.

If West Ham were to lose Jarrod Bowen to Manchester United in the summer, it would be a seriously big blow for the club.

He obviously has tremendous quality, but it is his unrivalled work-rate and commitment that have made him such a hero amongst the Hammers fans.

If West Ham are to have any chance of making genuine progress as a club over the next few years, keeping Bowen at the club will be of paramount importance.

However, with relegation down to the Championship looking likely, the sharks are beginning to circle.

Unless West Ham maintain their Premier League status, they may well be powerless to prevent Bowen from joining Man United.
