  1. >Kehl put it this way after the Heidenheim game: “I find it a bit difficult to respond to that after this game and this performance. I don’t think it makes any sense right now. We have to play better football!”

    >Coach Kovac also immediately put the brakes on the euphoria: “I don’t know if Schlotti said that. My focus is in the rear-view mirror. First of all, I want to see the teams behind us shrink. We need to score points to keep the teams behind us at bay.”

    >Words that could possibly give the ambitious centre-back pause for thought when it comes to extending his contract. After all, the ambitious Schlotterbeck is determined to win titles.

  2. “Die Bild-Zeitung ist ein Organ der Niedertracht. Es ist falsch, sie zu lesen. Jemand, der zu dieser Zeitung beiträgt, ist gesellschaftlich absolut inakzeptabel. Es wäre verfehlt, zu einem ihrer Redakteure freundlich oder auch nur höflich zu sein. Man muss so unfreundlich zu ihnen sein, wie es das Gesetz gerade noch zuläßt. Es sind schlechte Menschen, die Falsches tun”

  3. if you are 6 points below the first placed team, it is your fucking obligation to at least try to fight for the title

what if a couple of key Bayern players get injured? what if they put on a couple more of those performances like against Augsburg or HSV? sure we play much worse football than Bayern, but if the gap is not that big we have to be ready to give everything just in case we get lucky

everyone at the club who doesn’t think like this should move to an amateur club right now, because it’s a clear lack of competitive mindset that is required in professional football

  4. I’ve never understood why the club never wants to admit or say they want to win a championship. So what if you fail in winning a title at least you admitted to the goal. Sometimes you fail it happens but make the ambitions higher. He’s going to leave bc of the mindset of this club.

  5. I hope this is not real and just BILD bullsht because otherwise I would lose the last bit of hope on this club fighting again on silverware. This is exactly why Nico will leave us.

  6. What’s to get excited for as a player when you constantly get put down by this club the moment you show it publicly?

I hope Kovac and Kehl continue to get pressed about his comments in the next press conference and I hope Schlotterbeck keeps it up if we continue to win in the league.

  7. While I hate Bild and won’t believe their news,
I have the feeling you could ask Kehl anytime what the point difference to 5th place is and he would know it rather than the point gap to 1st place 🙂

I know people like the talk and the vibes, but objectively speaking why would Kovac and Kehl bring unnecessary pressure to the team? We barely beat the worst teams in the league and we simply don’t play well. This squad also isn’t simply good enough to compete against the best Bayern since Flick.

Yes they dropped points, just like they did in the past decade but whenever the situation seems like there would be a competition they proceed to win the next 5 games embarassing oponents.

Best thing to do is to live day by day and see what that leads us in the end. I would be beyond surprise if Bayern keep dropping points from now on.

  9. This loser mentality is the reason we’ll always be a 2nd place(at best) team, no fucking ambition whatsoever, why would Schlotterbeck stay after this?? He should leave go somewhere where they have fucking balls and don’t bend over to Bayern
