Liverpool City Region Destination Partnership and Liverpool Convention Bureau are calling on local venues to support the newly launched UK Conference and Meeting Survey 2026, the UK’s only national research study that tracks the size and value of the conference and meetings sector year on year.

Now in its 33rd consecutive year and supported by VisitBritain, UKCAMS plays a vital role in shaping national understanding of how the sector is performing and evolving. The 2026 edition collects data on the 2025 calendar year, including core questions on volume and value, along with insights into emerging trends and key issues affecting venues across the country.

Venues that take part will receive a complimentary, personalised benchmarking report that compares their performance with similar venues nationwide, providing valuable intelligence and tangible business insight.

Lisa Owen, Head of Business Tourism for LCRDP and Liverpool Convention Bureau, emphasised the importance of strong regional participation.

“High quality data is one of the most powerful tools we have as a sector. The more Liverpool City Region venues that complete this survey, the clearer the national picture becomes and the more effectively we can advocate for long term investment, promote our strengths and support venues with meaningful insights.

“UKCAMS helps us understand where the opportunities are and where collective action can make a real difference. This research benefits every venue that contributes and ultimately strengthens the competitiveness of our region.”

All responses are treated in complete confidence and only aggregated results are published. The findings are used solely for research purposes, ensuring venues can take part with assurance and transparency.

The deadline for responses is 31 March and venues across the Liverpool City Region are warmly encouraged to take part and share the survey link within their own networks.
