Aymeric Laporte VISITS Athletic Club while HE CONTINUES TO RECOVER from his knee INJURY.

Aymeric Laporte has continued his recovery journey in Spain, and managed to find some time to visit Athletic Club – the place where it all started for the defender.

The Spaniard is out until September with a knee injury, but says he felt amazing to return to Bilbao and meet so many familiar faces.

Forward Inaki Williams gave him the tour of the training facilities, and gifted the Manchester City man with a Athletic mascot teddy bear, to remember his trip by.

He also reunited with Athletic’s current head coach Ernesto Valverde, who managed Laporte for several seasons as the Basque club.
