Luca Netz is joining from Borussia Mönchengladbach in a deal worth £2 million to cover for Neco Williams at left-back.
Arne Engels is the subject of three Forest bids, but it does look as though the Hoops will stand firm on their desire to keep him.

A new striker looks unlikely in the wake of Lorenzo Lucca’s signing, with Jean-Philippe Mateta failing his medical at AC Milan.
Now, some news of an outgoing has emerged, with a shock bid being somewhat surprisingly rejected.
Nottingham Forest reject Morato bid
According to Sky Sports, Morato was the subject of a failed bid from Wolfsburg, who were willing to pay £17 million for the centre-back.
Morato has been criticised this season for some of his performances, with the Brazilian, who was signed for £10 million from Benfica in the summer of 2024.
The defender does have a mistake in his locker, but ultimately, he’s occasionally proved to be solid if he’s paired alongside the right defensive partners or in a three.
Morato is set to stay put now, and perhaps letting him leave the City Ground will be something Forest look to do in the summer instead.
Keeping Morato makes sense
The defender isn’t the cup of tea of every Forest fan, but when he’s been thrown on to see games out, he’s not always been a bad player.
With Jair Cunha very much considered as one for the future, it would appear that Dyche wants that experience in the team, with the boss praising Morato earlier in the season.
It does feel a bit curious, however, with Forest only spending £10 million to sign Morato and Wolfsburg offering the Reds a chance to make a profit on the player.
Hopefully, the same can be true in the summer, with Forest likely to move on from Morato and give more minutes to a player like Cunha.
