North Dorset Police have informed a person who was wanted by the courts was located and arrested on January 31.

Officers have informed that they will appear before the next available court.

North Dorset Police were assisted by Blandford Patrol Red team and Gillingham NPT.

Officers have showed gratitude to public for being patience while they dealt with incident.

Police also located a vulnerable missing person and offered them support via partner agencies, purchased them some food, and ensured they know where they can get help.

NPT officers have also attended several low-level peaceful protests in the area and engaged with the different groups, and said they had “some interesting conversations”.

The officers received an Intel regarding drugs in the North of Dorset and enquiries have been made with regards to other who are evading the courts.

As Storm Chandra brought horrendous flood across county, officers spent last week assisting in road closures.
