"Aston Villa can confirm that Louie Barry has joined Stockport County on loan.

Currently sidelined with an injury that cut short his spell at Sheffield United, the striker will link up with County for a third time for the remainder of 2025/26.

Barry won promotion with the Hatters in 2024 and, since joining Villa in 2020, has also spent time on loan at Ipswich Town, Swindon Town, MK Dons and Salford City."

  1. Hope things can click for him again there. Guy’s had a terrible run of luck, would be nice to see him catch a break for a change.

I said this time last year it was a ridiculous decision to take him away from Stockport. They were playing him and he was on track for 30 goals. You would have a silly bid from a championship team with those stats.

Now he’s again failed at championship level and we will be lucky if we get any fee for him now

How many times we gonna loan this guy out! what is he, 23? Just let him go. it’s obvious he’s a league one player never gets anywhere when he moves to Championship team.
