So,Kai showed the type of service Gyokeres has been lacking…he did it in 5minutes! I love Norgaad's one touch directness… doesn't give the opposition time to settle. Sort of what Roberto de zerbi preaches. More chaos, less control..far more output..
Hello Adrian just a quick one I was at the arsenal QPR game when Jensen scored that banger this game I'll Always remember as my mama saved up so I could go it was a joint Christmas and bday present it was my first game I was 12 I'm not sure if that was your debut but I remember you coming on I think for smudger
Just wanted to big up you and your channel šš»šš»
Havertz might just be d spark needed to take us over the line…just need to be fit till end of the season
Kai Havoc? Might need a song! Great to see him back starting! Thanks for the analysis Adrian – keep up the great work!
I think Leeds is the last chance saloon for odegaard,if he doesn't perform in that he should kiss his starting spot bye bye…
Great analysis once again Adrian. I love your calm, balanced player/ performance appraisals and ratings. I feel like you're talking about the same game I watched without some of the common blind spots. Is 7 a bit stingy for Arteta? I was really happy with the starting xi and how he set them up. Cala at CB and no Rice gives more room for Eze to drop in, receive and turn and makes sense of Myles.
Love the breakdown ⤠hype this channel š
We lost the 2nd half (1-0) to this horrible team. Let that sink in. Odegaard is not at the level needed to be.
Mikel did his job well there4 a 7 is too low
Leeds like a very physical game, so lets give them one! Raya, Timber, Saliba, Gabriel, Calafiori, Rice, Havertz, Merino, Saka, Gyokeres, Trossard. I think we have enough muscle there to teach them a lesson!
Once fully fit, I truly think our best midfield consists of Rice, Zubimendi & Havertz.
Gyokeres not for me reminds me of bendtner. First game of the season couldnāt wait for him to get subbed for Kai. Hopefully he will fall behind Kai and Jesu in the pecking order. We need a natural goal scorer like Alvares!
Norgaard played out of his skin. His passing was better than i have seen from Rice.
Enjoyable video. I missed the first goal as I was getting the hounds settled so the highlight for me was Martinelli's cross with the outside of his foot.
Great stuff Adrian
Let's go back to the initial Arteta system: Norgaard, Rice and Ćdegaard as the midfield triumvirate, Havertz plays as false 9 and Saka and Trossard on the wings.
No Zubimendi please, he's too prone to costly mistakes.
Sorry Adrian, I don't think Madueke will 'crack it'. His PL stats this season are totally abysmal, no goals and no assists! The Chelsea fans were spot on, he has no end product despite his ability to run with the ball. Not an intelligent football brain unfortunately.
I'm sick of hearing excuses around Odegaard. If any other player put in the performances he's put in in big games they'd be benched for months at a time. I'm ready to sell him and jesus. Have been for a while. Both are orchid players, need absolutely perfect conditions or they wither and die. Their time at Arsenal has expired.
Hopefully this glorified friendly will steady the decline in the PL. But I doubt it.
That's the first ratings for this game I totally agreed with. Nice vid as always clarky
Good assessment. Welcome back Kai. Eze was busier with nice touches and passes. More direct and adventurous play seems to get better results.
Totally agree with comments about Kepa on the penalty.
Run baby, run!)
I'm sure with Adrian's knowledge and analytical skills for the games, he definitely deserve a role in the current arsenal team, assisting Arteta in some ways.
Good result. Let's not get carried away though. This is a League 2 team. No Premier League team gives us any space like this and certainly we won't have space like that behind defences with all the low blocks. The worst team we played this season was Wolves and even they didn't give us that much space.
The Odegaard trashing is in full flow. Arsenal "fans" are so fickle. Sadly, Havertz will get the trashing also soon.
its bottle time!
and this is why Gunner's chances of trophies is suspect missing to many goals that are there to be had
Pretty harsh on Madueke. Successful pass maps are not the primary benchmark of true wingers; its more successful dribbles, beating their man, getting to the byeline…and Madueke is extremely good at those. He regularly beats the FB, gets to the byeline, causes panic in the oppo defence. He takes risks, big risks that have big rewards if comes off…he doesnt spend the game making easy and safe "successful" passes. He's a superb winger, I think even a bit better than Saka at direct dribbling and beating the FB in 1v1s.
Thanks for the excellent analysis. Really enjoyed the first half, Vic will be good with someone near him, Kai looked great. The directness and urgency was refreshing, nods to Norgaard, Eze, Martinelli. Eze needs a run at 10, when Kai is fit he will be amazing at 10 behind Vic.
Gyok should spend more time training to SCORE from the byline cross! š¤¬š¤¬
Kai will be key to unlocking our attacking issues and hopefully unlocking the strengths of Gyokeres this season.
Note to Arteta, Odegaard & Saka on Kairat performance
Our defence played āover the topā attacking passes
Forward runs from midfielders and forwards
Defence splitting through balls to forwards
Players movement, looking for the ball
Even movement from players on throw ins
All of the above points were positively voiced by Gooners at the match in the East Stand
Letās hope Arteta & Odegaard finally understand what fans want.
Great analysis of games Adrian, keep up the good work.
Arteta looking at the performance in the last 3 PL games at this stage of the season, I think it will help to have a starting eleven that can win the game and not necessarily a strong 11. Look at the Manchester United game, some players couldnāt handle the pressure but on paper made the strong 11. In some high pressure games a CB of Saliba and Big Gabi is prone to silly mistakes, you should just play either one of them and another CB. Zubimendi sometimes should not start the game, Odegaard is too weak and scared of 50/50 challenges there is not point of starting him. In the game like tomorrow āLeedsā we need players that are willing to get dirty and fight, Leeds players are ever running and too forceful.
Welcome back Kai! Loved the way the lads looked and played
Looked liked Gyokeresā finishing wasnāt great because heās was surprised to get so much service (only half joking)
Up the Gunners!
Really enjoy your analyses, thereās a lot of shouting and screaming out there ,
Kaiās return was the highlight for me ,shows what we have been missing.
Great to see the young fellas on too ,
Keep on going Gunners
Ordegard bench
Saka bench
Zubimendi bench
Trosard bench against Leeds United you will see the handbrake off come Saturday win š¢š¢š¢Arteta stop favouritism or you fall with your captain š
Havertz should start every match instead of Odegaard. Madueke to replace Saka. We need to play 1 CDM, say Rice. And two CM: Eze and Havertz.
You can' keep a good No 29 down! As always thanks for excellent analysis!
Thanks Adrian, good measured analysis as always.
I think I echo a big part of the fanbase with the disappointment in the second half. As soon as Kai went off our positive progression just vanished. Madueke too, I said to my mate he had a āChelsea gameā – looked good right up till he had to make a decision or play the final ball where he was abysmal. Yes, Kairat dropped into a low block in the second half, but it was really discouraging to see how much trouble we had with it.
Kai is the key for sure!
Madueke is a great dribbler but wonāt look up and make a pass, tries to do it all himself
Haha, analysis based on Kairat game. Leeds United will teach you a lesson today.
