One of the biggest misconceptions about Lampard is that he was just a high goal-scoring midfielder. He was also an elite playmaker for the team.
It’s infuriating for me whenever Lampard is compared to other players. People always talk about how players like Gerrard and Scholes were supposedly more “well-rounded”, as if Lampard contributed nothing more than score goals.
