I don’t think he’s a bad person or a negative to have around the squad. He just isn’t a winger and not very talented

Well at least this saga has ended. Why we paid 30m for him we’ll never know but at least now if certain obligations are met we can even make a potential profit.
Also put’s us in a much better position PSR wise and gets rid of his wages with bailey back.
Maybe Emery truly believed he could make smth out of him but playing him out of position wasn’t the best way to do that. He might start balling at palace but now we can move on from that awful summer window and reshape the squad properly come summer.

Unai gave him a ton of chances and he was almost completely ineffective for us. Jimoh-Aloba showed more in twenty mins than he had all season. Maybe a change of system will suit him.
