Well done to the lad. Let’s hope it’s the start of more. I remember watching Harry Kane’s debut. Spurs had a horrible injury crisis, nobody rated him and the consensus (at the time) was he will have to do. He scored a few, then some more, then became a leading player, then world class. Not that that is particulary relevant here, except we had a quality player in Grealish, he goes elsewhere, doesn’t get the minutes and suddenly he’s a shadow of himself. The kids need minutes in the crucible of the Premier League. Then it is sink or swim. Glad to see it. Let’s hope both of them kick on. We will need a solid youth pipeline and we usually do quite well with it.
