Is it just me, or has our defense looked completely rattled since Gigio left? I know Lucho wanted a "ball-playing" keeper, but Chevalier and Safonov just don't inspire that same confidence.

We’re conceding soft goals, and it’s killing our momentum in the Champions League.

If we want to actually compete for the trophy, we need elite shot-stopping again. David Raya would be the dream—he fits the system but actually keeps clean sheets.

Even someone like Nick Pope would bring that physical presence we’re missing..

Are we being too patient with the current rotation, or is it time to admit we messed up and buy a world-class #1 this summer?

  1. Raya is good with his feet but he’s not a match winner. No thanks. Pope is 33.

We need a young guy. I like the Strasbourg goalie he’s very tall and actually good on the ball unlike Knight. I think he ticks a lot of boxes of a modern goalie, with the right guidance he can be money.
