Thierno Barry found the back of the net again as a much-improved second-half display earned Everton a 1-1 draw against in-form Leeds United at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The Blues were out of sorts in the opening half and fell behind on 28 minutes when James Justin finished Anton Stach’s right-wing cross.

But changes from David Moyes straight after the break proved crucial, Jarrad Branthwaite and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall coming on to inspire a far better showing from the hosts.

And they got their reward on 76 minutes as Barry banged in Gana’s low cross from the right, before the returning Senegal midfielder nearly won it for the Blues moments later when he hit the bar from 20 yards out.

  1. Thought we missed Jack gives us control dont lose the ball often and gets freekicks when under pressure, a bit like Mcneil. Nice to have Jarrad back bit rusty but we have all missed him threading balls through opponents.

  3. We were woeful in the first half! Moyes should have had Merlin RohI and Dibling on from the start. McNeil and McNeil and Mykolenco should never be on the pitch. Well done Barry for getting us out of the crap again. UTFT ๐Ÿ’™

  4. Leeds should be frustrated with this. Everton were terrible first half and still came back easily. If Leeds want to stay up, they need way more killer instinct. Dropping points like this is how relegation happens.
I made great money from this game though ๐Ÿ’ฐ
