They won the FA cup, qualified for Europe, made good money on Eze…it seems like not selling Guehi was worth it. Don’t have a big 6 attitude wanting clubs to sell to us.

Feel abit for palace fans. They started to build a decent team and have just been absolutely raided.
Wasn’t too long ago that was us, as soon as wed find a gem of a player they’d be sold the next summer

I’d be happy for Palace to go down… not because they didn’t sell us Guehi (didn’t want the homophobic prick anyway) but because it’s such
a complete fucking ballache to get there and back.
Took me about 9 hours to get back after that awful 1-1 draw last season (the one where we scored without a single shot on target then conceded with the last kick of the game), literally half of which was just getting out of Croydon and round the M25 to the M1
Also, while I quite a like a good old fashioned football ground, there are some really shitty views if you get the wrong seat!

It’s genuinely shocking the way this season’s been approached after last year. They’re owned by a consortium of billionaires (and Parish) and they could have really kicked on this year.

Not sure I’m up for shitting on Palace. Guehi would have been sensational for us but he won them a cup. Last year we both achieved dreams, so let just focus our ire on the clubs that deserve it. You know, like Chelsea

Nothing against Palace, and don’t begrudge them holding onto Guehi season.
I do hope Steve Parish is fucking miserable right now though. Every time I see him he comes off as a massive bellend.

Parish was a bit of a twat about our Guehi pursuit, but other than that there should be no hard feelings for them not selling us their captain and best player. If we reject bids for Bruno, we’d be complaining about entitled fans expecting us to roll over.
I feel for them, was happy to see them win the cup last and it’s sad to see it seemingly fall apart so quickly
