Maybe it wasn't just sickness keeping him out of the squad at the weekend?

A bit of a shame, but if it frees up some space and wages then maybe not a terrible thing….

  1. Bit of a loss but you can’t hang on to someone who can’t play/train too many times in a row especially when we have to commit to buy him if he plays much more.

    Bye! And thanks!

Tbf to him Dyche bypasses the midfield and he was looking at not playing as we didn’t want to keep him long term. Wish him the best in his homecoming across the Midlands.

  3. Never fit and hardly a Dyche player. For the best. Wasn’t getting in ahead of Ando and Sangare anyway.

Shame it didn’t work out because he’s a quality player, but you can’t be carrying players on big wages and who aren’t fit enough to play more than 60 minutes in our position. Really looked like he didn’t trust his body enough so was playing within himself for the majority of the time. Just a shame about the timing as we could have used the money freed up to go after Garner but he’s just signed a new deal.

  5. Bit of a shame it didn’t work out, clearly has the quality but fee + wages for someone that isn’t holding down a regular place in the XI obviously not worth it
