Beto was on one last season tbh. TB has a lot more time to develop, but Moyes has had too many short-lived wonders before (Bent, Beattie, Johnson, jelavic, Beckford, even Yakubu who was electric in his first season but injury meant he was never the same again). Let’s hope TB is their first long term one in a while.

Barry was off to a very rough start but he has 5 goals on his last 10 attempts. Give him service and he will score, the quality he has shown the last 2 matches alone is undeniable.

I will miss Beto, but not necessarily for his performances for us on the pitch. He was just such an easy man to support and like. Clearly worked hard, had a kind heart, and showed for all to see how much every miss or mistake ate at him. Which…may have contributed to him never really being able to come fully good. He was too much in his melon about everything. Gotta chuck it in the fuck it bucket and move the fuck on, my friend.
I will miss that smile. I will miss that celly. I will miss chuckling at the way he runs like a baby moose coming out of anesthesia…
