Josip Juranovic is subject to serious interest across Europe, and I believe @CelticFC should sell the player for what is consdiered market rate with the alternatvies in the market. Nahuel Molina and Pedro Porro are expected to transfer closer to £30 million than £10 million, and this is fantastic opportunity for the club to make huge stride up the transfer market food chain. Selling to a team like @atleticodemadrid helps us attract the next generation of players, and will also help us sell them OURSELVES to the best in Europe, for REAL TRANSFER FEE’s !

  1. Be interesting to see who Celtic will target, Ralston deserves his chance to be the no1 RB but with Celtic possibly a bit short at the back maybe Ange will look for a utility player to cover lb or cb as well

  2. totally agree, Celtic should follow the Portuguese clubs, where they sign a player for a low amount of money and sell for sometime 10x the price they paid.

  3. Interesting video and I think you’re right about the approach Celtic should take. If you’re not one of the top ten or so clubs in the world it’s your only real option to attract talent.

  4. That makes sense Quinny. Selling at the peak of someone’s career is tricky because you are getting read of a valuable player but it ensures and enhances your capacity to start the cycle again, find some gems, and sell them later. It is a bit like Sorare, isn’t it? You dont want to be selling the player whose at the top of the wave but it can really take you next level

  5. Clubs like Celtic and Ajax are not big enough to hold on their players, they basicslly have to sell. But for Ajax it is shifting, for example 50m euro’s for martinez 🔥

  6. If JJ does go Ralston is surely in line for a starting spot after his performances at the back end of the season/for Scotland. Only issue you have is how does that play in the Champions League? Utility option at the back would be handy for sure.

  7. sell your players after you valueted them it's always a nice strategy
unfortunately, big clubs does not need to do it, i would love to see some salary cap or stuff like that to balance football all over europe a bit

  8. I agree with you that Celtic should be selling higher like Ajax, Brugge ect. Especially to mid tier Prem teams if you think that the league's physical nature should be a good learning ground to move to the prem

  9. Juranovic hasn’t played long enough for Celtic for us to take much credit in his development. We will probably sell in the next year or so, but I reckon he needs more games with Celtic. Personally, I reckon he’s better than Athletico Madrid, and worth more than what is being touted. Maybe Man City could buy him and loan him back for a season or two – we seem to have a working relationship with the City Group. That way we get the money and the player.
