Expected a loan and then away for free, and was happy to just get him away and off the wage bill. But to (hopefully) get a small fee and also get rid of his wages is great.

I thought he was meant to be doing a loan for the end of the contract and then joining perm? Wonder if they’ve just given us a nominal fee to take him or if the club just consider him gone
